Chatahn Estate Performance Horses

Freedom Fair Sweetheart-Born 15 September 1988.  Sweety is as her name describes, a real sweety, we bought her off Brenda Ellery in 2003 and ever since then my eldest daughter Leah has shown her under saddle, doing very well, with the occasional halter class in between.

Sweetheart is a purebred Arabian.

Noran Shiraz- Born 6 September 1990. Raz is a big Anglo Arabian who Rebekah has owned, ridden and bred from for years.

Raz's breeding:  sire- Simeon Shagrir  Dam- Noran Kizar

Raz gave Le'Skelle Lodge Arabains a Magnificent pinto colt in 08 and is in foal to Springfield Park Tylah again for us. 

Bandeeka Eirian- Born 1990. Sugar is a pure Welsh A mare we bought at the Mundijong markets, in foal to Nindalyup Ffarwyn.  On 20 January 2008 Sugar gave birth to a beautiful and healthy, dun turning grey colt called Chatahn Just One Kiss. Sugar has proved herself to be a lovely personality, though at times a bit stubborn!

Chatahn Iesha- Born 9 September 1994.

Itchy is a big built grey mare we bred, but sold as a yearling. A while back now, we heard that she was for sale so we jumped at it and bought her back, as a living memory of her Dam Lakeview Mateeka.  She was in foal to Mustalla. On the 16 February 2008 she gave birth to a gorgeous chestnut turning grey colt foal we named Chatahn Matrix.

 Itchy is now in foal to Prime Suspect for a 2009 foal.

Under Suspicion- Born 12 October 2006.

This gorgeous, typey warmblood filly has done very well with the small amount of outings she has had. This filly has outstanding movement and is a beautiful addition to our growing herd.

Bluegrass Heart of Gold-  Born 13 September 2007. 

Goldie has a very showy personality and good looks. She will be campaigned at shows in the future. She has a sweet personality and is an asset to the stud.

Venice is the most gentle, kind and friendly brood-mare. She has great breeding and a great showing background! In 2008 she gave us a beautiful bay filly by Cherox Sadaf(dec.)

Venice is a Bay Purebred Arabian.

Ash is a outstanding young mare, she has been broken in and is continuing her training here as a new competition horse for Vernon. She is registered with Australian Warmblood Horse Association and with the Arabian Horse Society. Ash is currently 17.2hh+ and still growing!

Queenie, like her mother, is a real sweety. She has fantastic breeding and is an asset to the stud. She has been broken in and is going REALLY well!!

We hope to breed her this season to River Oak Tabu!

Chatahn Paris Dreaming- born 2008, bay purebred filly.

Paris is to be retained to hopefully introduce black into our breeding, and be my next riding horse.
